Fun photographing my wife

 My wife is awesome, for one she loves me, which amazes me most days; on top of that mostly unbelievable revelation she is one of the smartest people I know, damn funny, and pretty.  Tara's mother gave her a collection of old glasses that belonged to family members.  Tara has been collecting vintage outfits for as long as I can remember.

So a few weeks a go we played pictures for a couple of hours ... enjoy please.

I shoot Jackie a few weeks ago against a white wall in her apartment with one light in a medium soft box.

Jackie is a fashion blogger and the founder of www.tgifguide.com. She needed a promo photo she can send out to conferences and such she speaks at.

 

I had a shoot canceled the day after we shot, so I retouched a few of my favorites instead of stewing over getting canceled on.

I drove into Hollywood to shoot Mariela's headshot.

We shoot behind her office.

And she wanted to shoot a few fun looks.

Anna East

I photographed Anna for my friend Angel a stylist and make-up artist.  

We shoot for a whole day in her friends beautiful home, and there wasn't a whole lot of room, but I set up my beauty dish and luged it around the house for most of the day.

Continuing a recent trend of shooting natural light headshots, I drove into Pasadena to shoot Candice.  As usual I'm  a photographer not a prolific writer.

I shot Helen's model portfolio in February.  We worked with natural light for a bit and I talked her into shooting a headshot with my strobes. 

Adam Woodard

This is how far behind I am on my blogging.  

I shoot Adam in January in Beverly Hills, he'd just rolled into town from South Carolina to start acting school and wanted a headshot.
